Price List:
0 – 300 weaners      $7 per head + gst.
300 – 800 weaners    $5 per head + gst
800 – 1000 weaners  $4 per head + gst
1,000 or more,  $4 + gst  for first 1,000,
$3.50 + gst per head for balance

 The size of the mob does not generally change the length of time of the program as it is a process that has been found to take 5-6 days regardless it being 1600 or 200 head and this is the reason for the price variance.  It is to be said that The Black Dog Livestock Education works to quality standard rather then a time frame.

Contract Mustering
While this is not a regular thing for us any more, if we are going to a property for weaner educating, we can be available for the mustering and drafting if requested.  We do however only handle the livestock in a calm and sensible fashion so if you are a rush fanatic, either close your eyes, leave us to it or do not use us for this part of your operation. 

Price:  Varied depending upon conditions, average $250+ gst. per person per day

Requirements to achieve maximum benefits from the program:

1. Plentiful water supply for livestock
2. Small amount of fodder
3. Holding paddock
4. Yard availability

While they can perform without one or all of the above mentioned it has been proven that having all will gain the best results.

 *We will also need to be advised if and when you have baited for wild dogs

What does the client have to do at weaning?
Once the weaners are drafted and the mothers taken away there is nothing more that you need to do.  You are however, most welcome to watch and ask questions if you wish, but as for the maintenance such as cleaning water troughs, putting out of fodder or supplement, that can be the responsibility of The Black Dog Livestock Education if you wish it to be.
